UberSocial Twitter app for BlackBerry has been updated to v1.252. This is a small update from the v1.251 update we got just a few days ago. The change log is listed below and your BlackBerry does require a re-boot after update.
UberSocial is a full featured location aware Twitter client which supports all of the features of Twitter as well as advanced capabilities such as: photo integration, embedded videos in tweets, tweet shrinking, URL shortening, twitter lists, changing your twitter avatar, saved searches, conversation threads, twitter profile editing, view who is retweeeting you, and a plethora of other features.
Changes from 1.251 to 1.252 include:
Increased the default local timeline cache size
Removed the ability to retweet a tweet from a private account

Version 1.250 includes the following changes:
Direct support for the latest OS 7 BlackBerry devices
For BlackBerry OS 6.0 and 7.0 devices we now support the home screen message notification bar so DMs, @replies/mentions and inner circle tweets will show up there for quick access from the device home screen. When you see the mini UberSocial icon, click the bar and the tweets/DMs that caused the notification will be displayed along with a snippet of the tweet. Clicking the tweet snippet will take you directly to it.
Fixed bug where tweets would not open on some touch screen devices when you touched them
Fixed bug where trending topics descriptions would sometimes overlap in the list.
Fixed issue caused by twitter wrapping all URLs with t.co shortened links, this affected twitlonger, tmi.me, myloc.me and mypict.me links
List timelines now include retweets
Fixed bug where mini-icon would sometimes have a zero next to it
Improved load times for the inner circle timeline
Mypict.me now respects the picture size that you choose.
Profile pictures are now rotated correctly
Added ‘Login via Browser’ as an option when adding more then one account
Added multiple retries to the authorization process as the twitter servers appear to timeout or return nothing quite often
Added a ‘Theme’ menu itme so you can easily change themes from the home timeline without going into options
Changed the menu text of ‘My Timeline’ to ‘My Tweets’ to more accurately reflect the functionality
Support for new device screen sizes for installable themes
Fixed a theme bug where backgrounds were not being used on all screens, causing tiling of the portrait background

UberSocial formerly known as UberTwitter launched last night and they have released a new update to fix a sound issue. Version 1.175 is available for download.
The upgrade went smooth and does require a reboot after installation.
As we said a few days ago the UberTwitter BlackBerry App was suspended until some violations were cleared up. It seems PostUp / UberMedia has been working hard to get this resolved and the wait is finally over.
Please welcome UberSocial and give it a try, this new install should overwrite the older UberTwitter install.
UberTwitter has released a new version and it includes several new features. One of the features are new themes. Below is a screen shot of the new Midnight Theme.
Below is a list of the features and capabilities that are new to this release.
Bug Fix – Fixed a bug where the menu key would become unresponsive and occasionally the device would lock up. This same bug likely was causing excessive battery usage over time.
New Themes – You asked and we delivered two new themes! The Midnight theme which we think many of you will find extremely appealing, and the Über Classic theme which brings back many of the color choices of version 0.971 including the same solid colors for @replies and DMs
Filtered ÜberChannels – You loved ÜberChannels, but now we think you’ll love it even more! When you pull up the timeline for an ÜberChannel the tweets are now filtered so that you will only see Continue on by Clicking HERE!
UberTwitter has been updated to Beta-8 Release 2. It will show up as version 0.985. UberTwitter is a personal favorite of mine and it is nice to see that the updates keep coming. The Beta 8 release added quite a few new settings and options that you can see in a video we did a while back HERE!. The download link is provided below. Enjoy!

HTML entities are now converted to the correct Unicode character
If you have unread marks set to auto-manager, then leaving the @replies screen and DMs screen will mark all of those as read
Added back the ability to select SSL connection to Twitter
The number of tweets returned in ‘Everyone Near You’ and searches now respects the setting under ‘options’.
Beta-8 is now available for download! This release includes a completely new user interface, along with substantial new features and capabilities. Although an actual change log is not listed I have been an ubertwitter user for quite some time and using the new release most of the day.
I can honestly say that this update is just like the past updates, "they made it even better". OTA link provided below.
