Eric at Ebscer let us know that Xploding Boxes has been updated to version 2.0 in BlackBerry AppWorld. This new version adds support for the PlayBook, support for Spanish, and 15 new levels. The first 25 levels are free, while the full 215 levels can be accessed by making an in-application payment and requiring no further downloads. If you have already purchased the full version of Xploding Boxes on your BlackBerry device, you can gain access on the PlayBook as well without having to pay a second time. Instead you can just select “Upgrade” from the swipe down menu, and log in with your BlackBerry ID.
About Xploding Boxes
Xploding Boxes is a strategy game for BlackBerry where the goal of the game is to start a chain reaction that will explode all of the boxes on the screen. Each level gives you a different number of touches, and requires a different strategy to solve. The first 25 levels are free, while the full 215 levels can be accessed by making an in-application payment and requiring no further downloads.
PlayBook Support
New in version 2.0 is support for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. If you have already upgraded to the full version of Xploding Boxes on your phone, you can gain access on the PlayBook as well without having to pay a second time. Instead you can just select “Upgrade” from the swipe down menu, and log in with your BlackBerryID. Unfortunately there is no way to sync your level progress on the phone version of the game, with the tablet version of the game so you will have to replay the levels from the beginning.
New Levels & Español
This new version also adds levels 201-215 to the game, as well as adding support for Spanish. The language can be changed from the option page, and will require the app to be restarted in order to take effect in some places. These additional levels and languages are available on both the phone and tablet versions of the game.
Price Free Version offers 25 levels. Full version is 2.99
James sent us a link via Twitter that turned us onto Sound Cloud and so far I am impressed with how quick and easy this site works. SoundCloud Mobile works with my BlackBerry PlayBook and my BlackBerry device.
I did listen to some of the newest tracks on the landing page but I ended up searching and listening to other stuff as well. Very cool site to listen to some original sounds.
If anyone gets the chance to try the site using the Bridge Browser leave a comment and let us know how it went.

This has been my theme of choice lately, and it is great to see that it is now supported for BlackBerry 6 devices. The theme runs without lag and navigates very well. Great graphics and layout make this a top notch theme.
PlayBook replica for your BlackBerry Smartphone device!
Based on the soon-to-be-superstar device, the BlackBerry Playbook, "GoPlay” is our nod of respect. Razor-sharp lines and clean, fluid movement is the key to making such a theme work well. You will notice the inherent complexity of everything available to you with the subtle movement of your trackball/trackpad. Elegant, graceful, swift and powerful. This is as close as it gets.
Normally priced 6.99 on sale for 2.99 limited time.
I have been using the GoPlay theme as my primary theme for quite a while and have yet to be disappointed. GoPlay is now compatible for the BlackBerry 6 OS so those with 9700, 9650, 9780,9300 and 9330 Devices running BlackBerry 6 can now enjoy this theme as well.

We wrote about the Tablet World Series that Laptopmag.com had going, that basically created a tablet popularity competition, with one bracket being made up of 7 inch tablets and the other bracket being made up of 10 inch tablets.
Playbook came out on top beating the likes of the ipad and beating out the Exo PC for the Championship.
It is really nice to see the Playbook come out on top, considering it has not been released yet. Thanks to everyone who voted.
Laptopmag.com is having a pretty cool voting event. During March Madness they had the Smartphone challenge and now they are having the Tablet World Series. Even though the Playbook has not released yet, it has been kicking but and now in the finals. For the Championship it’s down to the 7 inch Playbook and the 10 inch ExoPC Slate.
We posted a video yesterday but here is the lead in of the same video but with more information. This video is the first live preview of the much anticipated BlackBerry PlayBook runninng Flash Player and AIR at the Adobe Air Max conference.
