Peter from Elecite let us know that they have released a new theme called Shell. The new Shell Theme gives you the option to choose between the black, white, blue, and red theme skins on the fly with the skin selection button. On top of color choice, you also get app choice – 4 dedicated icons in a dock, as well as 9 more hidden icons that you can reach via the arrow button – all completely customizable and imitate the icons at the top of your application list.
Shell is available for the BlackBerry 8350, 85xx, 8900, 9000, 95xx, and 96xx series.

Wow this theme is sweet. Zack ” The Z Man ” Let us know about his new Theme Transitions and gave us a chance to try it out. We used it on an 8900 and the results were sweet. I have only used it for a short time this morning and I could quickly tell Transitions is a keeper. I experienced no lag going from screen to screen and the overall size of the theme is relatively small for all the effects it offers. See the video below to see it in action. Once the backlight turns off, it’s necessary to click or press a key to turn it back on. But it’s just as annoying to have to keep moving the track device or touching the touchscreen or pressing a neutral key like Shift to keep the light on while reading.

It’s got the big battery and signal meters and 8 sliding customizable icons.
