Foursquare for BlackBerry has been updated and actually done quietly. No change log to speak of but I did upgrade and everything went smooth but I have yet to see anything new or different. If you notice anything new, please leave a comment and let folks know.

Foursquare for BlackBerry had it’s last update (version 1.95/1.9.6) less than a month ago that included quite a few changes, such as native push notifications and battery improvements two name a couple.

About: Foursquare is all about helping you find new ways to explore the city. Earn points and unlock badges for discovering new places, doing new things and meeting new people.

People use foursquare to "check-in", which is a way of telling us your whereabouts. When you check-in someplace, we’ll tell your friends where they can find you and recommend places to go & things to do nearby. People check-in at all kind of places – cafes, bars, restaurants, parks, homes, offices.

The OTA link does not have this most recent version, so it is currently only available via BlackBerry App World.
